212I Indoor Keypad
Affordable single door access control keypad designed to meet the indoor flush mount needs of lighter volume access control environments. There are three LED’s to indicate operation status and provide the user with visual PIN entry confirmation. The i style keypad mounts to most standard single-gang electrical back boxes.

212 and 232 Series Keypads
The two models are very similiar, with one glaring diffierence: Model 232 comes with a 293 relay board.
Model 232 = Model 212 + 293 Relay Board
The 293 board adds these features:
Door ajar alert – Forced door alert – Door propped alert
If you own Model 212 and want to upgrade it to include these features, then add a 293 relay board. It is a plug-in module that is added to the basic board. Adding the board will essentially turn it into Model 232. Also note the 293 board converts the 3 standard outputs into SPDT relays.
Features and Ordering
The keypads support 120 users and are designed to fit a single gang electrical box. Beyond the basic functions of controlling an electric strike or mag lock, these keypads can wire to a 250 printer interface, arm or disarm an alarm control panel, connect to an accessory, and work with a request to exit device.
Ordering model variations is pretty straightforward once you get familiar with suffixes:
I = Flush mount, indoor
IL = Flush mount, backlit, indoor
ILW = Flush mount, backlit, weather resistant
ILM = Surface mount, backlit, narrow style for mounting on mullions
E = Flush mount, backlit, weather resistant
SE = Surface mount, sealed in metal housing, weather proof
W = Flush mount, weather resistant
FX = Flush mount, for harsh environments
R = Surface mount, ruggedized in weather proof self contained metal housing
