8916 AF89P – Adjustable Size 1-6

The 8916 Series closer is the same as 8616 with one key difference: Thinking Backcheck.

This feature allows the closer to self-adjust to varying conditions, thereby increasing the life of the closer.  It is common to see a building that uses 8616 closers for most interior doors and 8916 for exterior.  From the outside the two closers look the same.
